Pedestrian Bridge

Pedestrian Bridge

As Navi Mumbai continues to evolve as a rapidly growing urban Centre, well-planned pedestrian infrastructure plays an essential role in creating safer, more accessible, and better-connected urban environments.
This project explores the role of elevated pedestrian bridges in improving connectivity across busy road networks while creating a more organized relationship between pedestrians, vehicular movement, and the surrounding built environment. The bridge structures combine functional efficiency with distinctive structural forms, contributing to the visual identity of the urban landscape.
The integration of pedestrian circulation with existing road infrastructure highlights the importance of accessibility, efficient movement, and thoughtful infrastructure planning in contemporary urban development. Set against a backdrop of expanding residential neighborhood’s, road networks, and open landscapes, the project reflects the changing character of Navi Mumbai’s urban fabric.
